Who is behind Electrical Business Sales?

Electrical Business Sales is a division of Reads Advice Partners Ltd (Company No. 12124192), registered in England and Wales. The electrical division is run by Simon Read. Your first conversation can be with Simon or Emily, and decisions on the sale are made with Simon.

Do you only work with electrical businesses?

Our electrical division focuses exclusively on UK electrical contracting businesses. This sector specialism means we understand the nuances of NICEIC approval, NAPIT registration, ECA membership, the EV charging rollout, and what buyers in this sector are looking for. The broader Reads Advice Partners network covers other sectors.

How is Electrical Business Sales different from a generalist business broker?

A generalist broker sells businesses across every sector. They are unlikely to understand NICEIC-approved vs NAPIT vs ECA, what EV charging capability means to a buyer, how commercial maintenance contracts are valued differently from domestic call-outs, or which PE platforms are actively acquiring in the electrical contracting space.
